BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH
OF SAN JOSE CITY
The Gospel Message We Preach
Bible Baptist Church of San Jose City preaches and practices the Great Commission
(Mark 16:15 ; Matthew 28:19-20 ).

The Good News of salvation we preach lies on the premise that all have sinned (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12) , and because of our sin-nature, we are worthy to be condemned to death and to be punished
(Revelation 21:8 ; Revelation 20:14-15).

The only way one can be saved is by genuinely believing and accepting
Christ's sacrifice on the cross for us, repenting of one's sins
(Romans 10:9-10 -- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation;
Romans 10:13 --For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.).

Through Jesus Christ's perfect sacrifice and shed blood on the cross (1 Peter 1:19, Hebrews 9:22) we are healed
(Isaiah 53:5-- But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.).
The salvation we preach is anchored on Christ's death, burial and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Salvation is personal, and is a free-gift of God
(Ephesians 2:8-9 --For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.).

From the moment one genuinely believes and accepts Jesus Christ as His Lord and personal Saviour, the Holy Spirit of God helps one in his or her daily Christian walk.

There is a spiritual warfare and a real enemy we battle with (1 Peter 5:8).
Decide to live victoriously for Christ by abiding in Him and His Word (John 15). Decide to "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour", as we await the coming of our Blessed Hope, and be forever with the Lord.

(Titus 2:13 -- Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing
of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ).
